Cattle Breeding

Due to the dry climate, extensive cattle breeding is practiced on Kehoro South. About 10-12 hectares of pure Namibian nature are available for each animal.

An average of 450 head of cattle including cows, calves and bulls live on the Kehoro South farm. Own offspring are produced and refreshed every year with new genetics by new bulls.
All calves up to the age of 6 months stay with their mothers. After that, depending on your needs, they stay on the farm until the end of their lives or are sold at the age of 6 months.
